Profile Rebecca Playle

Rebecca Playle, Head of Statistics at the South East Wales Trial Unit (SEWTU), Cardiff University, is also a Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics in the Dental School and holds a joint post with the Medical School as a senior statistician with an interest in the design and analysis of clinical trials of complex interventions. She obtained a PhD from the University of Wales College of Medicine for her work on the analysis of a longitudinal study of the aetiology of type 2 diabetes and risk factors for the development of micro- and macro-vascular complications.
